Rented Christmas (2012)

For his Christmas 1958, John Dale, a succesful bussiness man, wants a fully decorated Christmas tree, Christmas presents, Christmas carol…the works. But the most important items are six children and a wife. The problem: he hasn’t celebrated Christmas for years and he ISN’T married. The solution: rent a Christmas from the local rental shop that has a sign that states “We rent anything”. Add a lovely spunky woman who owns the rental shop, nosy neighbors with six children and a cousin Eunice who is looking for a husband, a grumpy rent collector, a “cool man” shop clerk, a housekeeper and handyman that keep John’s home ship-shape, and of course a bunch of adorable, highly energetic orphans, and you have an entertaining, family-friendly “Rented Christmas” story.
